Privacy Policy

CueInk is a privacy-focused browser and productivity workspace. We collect only the information necessary to run your account, manage your subscription, and keep the app working.
What we collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and device identifiers. This is used to secure your account, enforce your subscription plan, and keep your data synced across devices.
Subscription & Billing
We do not store your payment details. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We only store your subscription status (active/inactive), plan type, and renewal date to determine which features you can access.
Diagnostic Information (Optional)
We may collect basic, anonymized crash logs to improve the stability of the app. This never includes your browsing history, bookmarks, or personal files.
Browsing & Data
Your browsing data stays on your device.
Pages you open in CueInk are not sent to our servers. Your search history, tabs, and workspace data remain local unless you explicitly choose to enable Cloud Sync.
Ink Network (VPN)
When you use Ink Network, your internet traffic is routed through an encrypted tunnel (powered by Cloudflare WARP). We do not log, store, or share the websites you visit or the content you access while connected.
Cloud Sync
If you enable Cloud Sync, we sync your Spaces, tab URLs, and toolkit data (such as assignments and tasks) across your devices. This data is stored securely in our database and is only accessible to your account.
Our Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on:
- Performance of a contract – to provide the services you subscribe to.
- Legitimate interest – to improve app stability and prevent abuse.
- Consent – for optional features like Cloud Sync and analytics.
How We Share Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
The only third-party processors we rely on are:
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Cloudflare (VPN tunnel / WARP)
Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as you have an active subscription.
If you cancel, we keep your data for 30 days (so you can resubscribe without losing your Spaces), then permanently delete it.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of your personal data.
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and data at any time.
- Export your data (Space details and toolkit entries).
- Object to or restrict processing of your data.
